Here is more about Savannah in her own words…
….
My name is Savannah.  Born by the North Sea and currently living in the Pacific North West, I have always been blessed by the tides and depths of ocean.  I have explored the paths of writer, researcher, speech therapist, body worker, teacher, translator, dancer, artist and musician.  I am happiest when I am learning.  I learn most when I am teaching.

Fifteen years ago, I narrowly escaped an academic career in comparative literature.  I learnt to track and weave complex webs of symbols, patterns, and connections across imaginary worlds and cultures but soon realised that given a choice I would much rather participate in creation than discuss it.  A bit disillusioned with aimlessly transcendent analysis, I could not have guessed the training would turn out to serve me well when I stumbled my way back into the dreamtime more than a decade later.  This time I was caught in a living web of spirit guides, animal powers, fairy magic, and practical wisdom.  I owe heartfelt gratitude to  extraordinary teachers and mentors, in particular Robert Moss, creator of Active Dreaming.

I am a dreamwalker with a passion for movement, creative expression and story telling who believes dreams hold the power to light up our most authentic stories.  As a craniosacral therapist I am fascinated with the visions and narratives written into our cells and tissues.  When writing I rub words together like fire stones, in hopes of the spark that will illuminate a deeper truth.  I encourage others to give voice to their hidden landscapes and speak that which cannot be said, because only in healing our connection with the wisdom of our inner lives can we expect to bring healing to the world around us.

I am working to bring dreamers together to sing and tell stories, play games, find joy in unexpected connections, and bring greater meaning to the dreams of life.   I welcome all who wish to gather around the fire and keep the circle growing strong.

Poem:

Innocence

is not the

absence of experience

it is the sure knowing that

I traveled the winged path

before the first stone was laid

I embraced the ocean

before I ever learnt to swim

the crack in the pavement

was mended long before the rift

so it is in all time

all ways

all heavens and suns

there is no solution because

I was never a question

only a mystery.

  1. Dear Savannah,

Thank you for your presence here. Your bio both intrigues me and resonates with my own chosen path, i.e., for participation in, rather than discussion of, creation.

I want to affirm how powerful is the theme of dreams, and how interesting it is that you are a dreamwalker.

Your poem (here) has a dreamy power.

    Sincerely,

    Charlene Robson

  2. Dear Charlene,
So lovely to hear from you. I will look forward perhaps to meeting you at one of the dream circles (dates to be announced soon!), or sharing poetry in the future!
    Warmly,
    Savannah
